Write it down so you know what you think. The best PMs aren't writing more documentation for others. They're writing better documentation for themselves.

The shift: AI is increasingly able to pick up your documents and run with them. It can execute, draft, summarize, and translate. But only you can get clear on what's actually needed. The document you write to sharpen your own reasoning becomes the source. Everything downstream — the comms, the artifacts, the execution — gets multiplied from there.
