Leading product in enterprise is different. A junior PM with strong AI skills can now produce analysis, drafts, and prototypes that would have taken a senior PM days. The raw output gap between junior and senior is compressing fast. This changes what seniority means.

The new seniority isn't years of experience — it's quality of judgment. Can you tell when the AI output is wrong? Do you know which questions to ask? Can you spot the landmine the prototype doesn't account for? A junior PM can generate five product strategies in an hour. A senior PM knows which one will actually survive contact with the organization.

Experience still matters. But what it means is changing. The gap isn't output anymore — it's knowing what to do with it.
